THE CONDITIONS of the Stage Carriage Ordinance, Session XXII, No. 13, will, on and after the 10th of November, 1863, be strictly enforced. WEIGHTS AND MEASURES ORDINANCE. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, THAT on and after Monday, November 23rd, 1863, the Inspector of Weight* and Measures will be prepared to correct and Stamp all Weights and Measures, all Weighing Machined, Beams, and Scales, now in use in Kaiapoi, and the whole of the district north of the Southern Stream of Waimakariri River, and that all such Weighing Machines, Beams and Scales, Weights and Measures are required to be delivered at the Temporary Weights and Measures' Office, Kaiapoi, near Mr. Black's store, for the purpose of being corrected and stamped before the sth DAY OF DECEMBER NEXT, 1863, after which day the law will be enforced against all persons failing to comply with the Ordinance.
