STORE ON THE RAKALL TO STATION OWNERS AND OTHERS IN THE RAKAIA AND SURROUNDING DISTRICTS. THE Undersigned has entered into a contract for the erection of a wool and goods store on he South Bank of tho Rakaia, close to the Great South Road. By the terms of the contract the building is to >c completed on the 2nd of November, in time to eceive the wool coining down this season from the teighboring stations, and to supply the returning Irays with stores, of which latter there will always ie a well assorted stock on hand. Believing that the accommodation such a store rill afford lias long been required for this district, lie proprietor hopes it will meet with a reasonable egree of support. Arrangements can be made for forwarding wool rora the South Bank to the shipping places in the iver or to the vessels loading in Lyttelton arbour. A depot for goods (at which there will likewise c accommodation for wool) will also be formed n the North Bank, and any goods ordered from ie proprietor's store in Christchurch can be sent >rward and delivered there to order.
