These rams are bred from the pure Silesian Stock imported into the colony by Mr. Mason, and to the produce of which several prizes were awarded at the last sheep show on the Ashburton to the wellknown stock of Messrs. Kennaway. They are large framed rams, fine and heavy fleeces, thoroughly acclimatised, and suited to the requirements of the colony as well for heavy carcases as fine wool. The rams will shortly be on view at Mr. T. Wilkinson's Farm on the Lincoln road. The Auctioneers are instructed to sell them WITHOUT THE SLIGHTEST HESERVE. Dampier, Esq., to nell by public auction at their Rooms, ou THURSDAY, MAY 1, \LL that elegant and convenient freehold residence situated in Dampier's Bay, known as Waicliffe, with one and a quarter races of land annexed thereto, well laid out in ornamental and kitchen gardens and orchard, and plentifully stocked with fruit and forest trees, shrubs, &c. This property comprises the sections Xos. 240, 241, 243 and 245 in Lyttelton. For a private residence Waicliffe presents many advantages; the admirable view of the harbour which its situation commands, the beauty of its grounds, entitle it to rank as the best property in Lyttelton. The auctioneers will be prepared to receive offers to rent the above portion of the Waicliffe estate upon lease, with a purchasing clause, upon very reasonable terms.
