GENTLEMEN. -Finding that I shall be unable to attend the next Session of the General Assembly, and thinking it of the greatest importance that every southern constituency should be represented, I shall forward my resignation to Auckland by the next Steamer, in order that you may have time to elect a representative before the commencement of the Session.
