"Besolved that the proceeds of the eubscription to the Taranaki Relief Fund, after deducting the expenses incident on the collection thereof, be placed at the disposal of the Taranaki Committee for the relief of cases of actual distress arising out of the Tecent Maori war, but not for compensation for losse resulting therefrom." In accordance with the foregoing resolution the Treasurer and Secretary hereby notify that unless a refund of the contribution of any subscriber shall be applied for within one month from the date hereof, the balance in hand will be dealt with as therein directed.
