Keen Competition In Motor-Cycling
With riders present from Opotiki and Tauranga, there was keen competition in the Bay of Plenty Motor Cycle Club’s scramble at Paterson’s paddock yesterday. Thrills were provided in duels between B. Matthews and B. Woods, of Whakatane, both riding 350 cc A.J.S. machines. Also well to the fore were B. Scobie (8.5. A.), of Opotiki and H. Howe (Levis) of Whakatane, and G. Beattie and G. Campbell, of Tauranga.
