Anglican Ladies Hold Flower Show
A successful flower display was hel4 by lady parishioners of St. George’s Anglican Church on Thursday afternoon.
Though it was intended as a display rather than as a competitive function, there were competitive sections in cookery and for children.
An appreciated interlude was a demonstration by Mrs L. Carter, of Awakeri, of a modern bowl of daffodils.
Items were given by Mesdames Warner and Wylie. ( A visitor whose attendance was appreciated was the Presbyterian Minister, Rev. R. T. Dodds.
