The food question for 4000 visitors is in itself a problem but whole bullocks cooked in traditional fashion help to solve the difficulty. Nearly an acre of marquees, tents and tarpaulins will give shelter to the visitors, and eight sittings of 500 people will keep cooks and helpers busy. The Hon. Mr Sullivan, M.P., and the Hon. Mr Corbett, Minister for Native Affairs, will represent the Government. On Saturday, September 23 at 6.30 p.m. Returned Soldiers both Maori and Pakeha, are invited to a reunion dinner on the Marae. Admission 10/-. Friday, September 22 at 8.15 p.m., Winter Show Buildings, UNIQUE MAORI CONCERT. A special heavy platform is being erected to hold the large Haka parties who will make their age-old war challenge with all the energy that carried the Maori Battalion to the top of Cassino. Some of those men who took part in that assault will be on the platform. Instrumental and vocal items, action song parties and Poi and Haka parties will make up a memorable concert.
