Cost Of Converting Heating System
It was the opinion of the engineer, Mr G. Vamos, that it would cost from £BOO to £IOOO to convert the coal-burning heating system to oil burning, it was reported by the chairman, Mr J. Mullins, at a meeting of the Whakatane Hospital yesterday. The cost of running would be higher than with coal. Smoke nuisance would be abated. The matter was left in abeyance.
