Wharfage Receipts Show Decrease
Wharfage receipts at Whakatane for the three,months ended July 31 have decreased steadily since 1947. This was revealed to the Whakatane Harbour Board on Friday. , For May, June and July of this year receipts totalled £662 12s 3d. For the corresponding period last year receipts were £782 15s Id. In 1948 it was £792 16s 6d and in 1947 the figure was £892 9s sd.
