Silver Jubilee Camp Planned By Boys' Brigade In N.Z.
The Boys’ Brigade is celebrating its silver jubilee this year with a Dominion camp at Waipara, North Canterbury, from December 28 to January 8. A total of 1350 applications including some from the Bay of Plenty had been received from boys and officers in the 130 companies in the Dominion when registrations closed last week. It is believed that this will be the largest Boys’ Brigade camp ever held outside th'e United Kingdom. Those attending will spend two days in Christchurch. The Singapore battalion has intimated that it will be sending at least six members, and there will be parties from Australia, Niue Island, Nauru and the Cook Islands.
