Further Attempt To Raise Sunken Barge
Another attempt to raise a barge, which sank off the Rurima Islands in 100 feet of water last , year, is to made from Whakatane this week. Yesterday salvage equipment was brought to Whakatane in the form of two tugs and two barges. This will be the fifth attempt at salvage. A direct lift is to be made as soon as it is found how the sunken barge is placed. Divers are to inspect her today. ' .
