FINAL OUTINGS BEFORE FIRST REGATTA Crews of the Whakatane Rowing Club will have their final training rows tomorrow morning to complete their preparation for the Hamilton rowing regatta on Monday. All four crews have kept the practice outings up steadily in the past few weeks and although not at the peak of their condition yet are considered to be in encouraging form.
The crews will leave Whakatane on Sunday morning by bus for Hamilton and will visit the Empire Games rowing village at Lake Karapiro en route. They will return to Whakatane after the regatta on Monday.
