Winter Show The world’s largest manufacturer of chemical products has just tentatively booked a big space for our 1950 Show. The productive capacity of this Coast is beginning to impress itself upon the city business community and the Show Executive rightly expects tremendous interest in the June Show. Next month the progressive A. and P . Committee will be holding their annual Stock and Agricultural Show, and as usual the horse events will be outstanding. We hope the Home Industries section will have record entries, for it is from this section the Winter Show expects to obtain „ strong support for numerous classes. Housewives should look out their best fruit and vegetables for bottling, and with sugar available there is no excuse for not showing jam. The Winter Show Executive works hard in your interest and the only reward the members expect is your Show support and personal entries in the Show Classes. - If you want a special class inserted in the new schedule write P.O. Box 213 or Phone 169 a. With 44/46 wool at 40d per lb and butterfat at 2/6 per lb surely every farmer can spare 10/6 membership Winter Show ticket. Support the Show that brings to your town the means and methods for increasing production and keeping our country prosperous. “When farming dies, grass will grow in the streets of our cities.” RICHARD COBBE, Secretary.
