Scouts Uncertain Of Attending Games
While it is hoped that Bay of Plenty scouts will be able to attend the Empire Games at Auckland next year it is not certain yet whether the scouts will be going or not thecommissioner for the Bay of Plenty, Mr C. Kingsley-Smith, told the Beacon yesterday. There are still many arrangements to be made before anything definite would be known. The Commissioner said he hoped scouts would be going to be used as runners and messengers but accommodation for a camp site was the hold up at present.
