Telephone Alarms Wanted At Ohope
The possibility of having sirens or telephones erected at Ohope beach for the purpose of giving any alarms is to be explored by the Whakatane Surf C,lub it was decided at the annual meeting last night. Because of the length of Ohope it was felt that the club could not hope to have patrols placed in anywhere but the main bathing 'spots and it was decided that sirens or telephones might possibly be the answer. > Officers elected:—
