Keep a small muslin bag hanging beside your sink. Into it put your egshells and all odd 7 pieces of soap. On washing day tie the bag tightly, and place it in the copper with the clothes. No powder or bleach will be required.
To., restore handkerchiefs to their crisp whiteness, rinse them in a bowl of water to which has been added a tablespoonful of peroxide of hydrogen.
