The first round of the above competitions must be played off before the 15th instant and each round weekly thereafter. Hay ter Cup: The first round of the Hay ter Cup resulted: Mrs Symmans beat Mrs Armstrong; Mrs Dawson won by default from Mrs Luxton; Miss Otley beat Mrs Berg; Miss Black beat Mrs Baxter; Mrs Thomas beat Miss Hyland; Mrs Fogerty beat Mrs Winstone; Miss Carter beat Mrs Sloane; Miss Robins beat Mrs Otley. Boon Cup: The first round of the Boon Cup resulted: Mrs Miles beat Mrs Grey; Mrs Fennell beat Mrs Donaldson; Miss Suckling beat Miss Gartshore; Miss Armstrong beat Mrs Breckon; Mrs Fraser won by default from Miss Righton; Mrs Semmens beat Mrs Burke; Mrs Pearse won by default from Mrs Spence; Mrs Reardon beat Mrs Sisam.
