The Postmaster advises that commencing forthwith all the public codes authorised for use in* overseas telegrams may now be used in telegrams to Norway. A Poor Advertisement Commenting on the state of the playing togs of the Whakatane,- Rep. team at Opotiki last Saturday the Opotiki 'News' states: "Spectators » found it rather hard to place the visiting players as when they took the field many of their numbers were . tattered and others so indistinct as to be practically unreadable even when the players were standing still."
