Sheep: At their weekly stock sale held at Hamilton on Tuesday,, a good yarding of. all classes. Conv petition Avas not. quite so keen and prices shoAved a slight decline. A medium entry of fat lambs Avith prices firm at late rates.

Cattle: A medium yarding of ox

beef Avas; penned and a steady demand existed throughout the sale Avith values slightly firmer than last week. Coav and heifer beef was yard ed in good numbers and, finished cattle were in firm demand. The offering of store cattle was not so keenly sought, resulting in several lines being passed. A heavy entry of runners and vealers Avas offered, prime sorts selling freely. Small and. unfinished A'ealers cased in val-t ues ,in the latter part of the. sale. An extra heavy yarding of boner coavs realised higher values, than at recent saHes. » Pigs: A larger yarding of fat pigs Avas penned. Competition for baconers and porkers was very steady, values being fully up to last week's quotations. The demand for choppers Avas again keen, a good sale resulting. Store and Aveaner pigs improved in values on recent sales.
