EDGECUMBE LODGE
The half yearly installation of ofjiicers of Edgecumbe Lodge of U.A.O.D. took place at Awakeri •aHll on Thursday last. Forty members were present including from Te Puke Lodge. District President Sister Karris performed the installation ceremony with impressive dignity. The following officers were installed: Junior Past Archßro IW. Osborne; Arch Druid P. A. Bro F. W. Snelling; Vice Arch Bro H. Neal; Inside Guardian Bro S. W. Learning; Outside Guardian, Bro K. Melville; Arch Druid Bards Sis. Jones and Sis. Taylor; Vice Arch Bards Bros G. and L. O'Brien; Mas ter of Ceremonies P. D. P. Bro .T. Mullins.
Past Arch Bro J. Gattsche was presented with his Past Arch collar and congratulated on completing his term of office. All officers returned thanks to members for election and the remainder of the evening was spent in dancing to music supplied "by Sister Harris, Sister Neal and Brother Villis. A tasty supper was -served b3# the social committee, -a special feature of which was a beautifully iced cake in honour of two prominent members of the Lodge, P.A. Bro and Sis. Neal. The good wishes of the assembled members were expressed fcy P.D.P. Bro Mullins an,d the even ing closed harmoniously with Avid Lang Syne,
