PONGAKAWA CRICKET SUB-ASSOCIATION

• Six nomination for a panel nf three selectors were received at this week's meeting of the Pongakawa Cricket Sub-Association held at Maketu. The selectors appointed were Messrs J. Pattie, Snr., G. Stapleton and J. Reid, Jnr. A knockout competition is to be played during the three Sundavs preceding the Christmas break. On December 4 Maketu will meet Pongakawa at Pongakawa; Pukehina will play Wanderers at Te Puke and Rovers have drawn the bve. The winner of Pukehina v. Wanderers game will plav Rovers on December ] 1 and on December 13 the final game will take place.
