UNEMPLOYMENT IN BERLIN
ONE OUT OF THREE OUT OF WORK (Rec. 8.55 a.m.) London, Oct. 28. A campaign is about to be launched in Western Berlin to reduce unemployment. A Berlin corresnondent says that with winter not far away one out of every three of the working population of the Western Sector is without a job and this figure is still increasing.
The corespondent says that British economic experts in Berlin believe that priority must be given to assisting trade and industry and think that this is more important than hoping to balance Berlin’s political budget.
