SUCCESS AT LONDON DAIRY SHOW
NEW ZEALAND CHEESE FACTORIES DOMINION "ENTRIES WIN THREE PLACINGS (PA.) Wellington, Oct. 27. New Zealand cheese factories have again had successes with their entries in the Dominion cheese class at the London Dairy Show this week. The Minister of Agriculture, Mr Cullen, said this evening that the first prize in this class went to the Murray Bridge factory from South Australia, but that entries from New Zealand factories filled the remainder of the placings— Greytown (Wairarapa) second, Awarua (Southland) third, Brydone (Southland) fourth, and Lochiel (Southland) very highly commended. Mr CuPen said that, through the success of the Greytown companv. Wairarapa retained the valuable silver Bledisloe Cup awarded to the district exhibiting the best New Zealand cheese and which was brought to the North Island for the first time last year as a result of Ihe cheese exhibit from the Dalefield Dairy Co. Competition in the Dominion class at the show was exceptionally keen, and the produce attracted considerable attention.
