Reference to the death of Mr J Mark, father of Dr J. Mark, was made by the chairman, Mr H. J. Clarke, at the monthly meeting of the Tauranga Hospital Board on Thursday. Members stood in silence as a mark of respect and the meeting was later adjourned to enable the board members to attend Dr Mark's funeral. i|t $ $ $ An application for leave of absence for a period of approximately three months, was received at this week's meeting of the Tauranga Hospital Board, from Doctor P. Wishart, the board's radiologist. Dr Wishart stated that he was proceeding shortly overseas for post graduate study. The board granted the leave asked for and resolved to wish Doctor Wishart success in his further studies.
