£20,000 Allocated To Develops Tauranga Harbour
(P.A.) Wellington, Aug:. 19. A sum of £20.000 is provided on account for the improvement of Tauranga harbour, according to departmental estimates" presented to the House of Representatives last night. The highway maintenance vote includes the following (last year's figures bfciiig in parentheses): Tauranga, £20.000 (£10,000). Maintenance rebair etc., Tauranga, The Lands and Survey Department vote includes £11,050 an pro r vision for fh«* cost of mapping in the Rotorua-Taupo area to obtain data for the closer study of tb/> potentials of large undeveloped areas for land utilisation and forest development.
