St. George's Day Message
Greetings From Chief Scout Throughout the world on St. George's Day, it is customary for members of the Scout Movement to reaffirm their Scout promise, and so today, Scouts in New Zealand will ally themselves with their Brother Scouts throughout the world in this act o> remembrance. The Empire Chief Scout, Lord Rowailan, who recently toured New Zealand, and who is now touring Australia, has sent the following St. George's Day message <o His Excellency, the Governor-General and Dominion Chief Scout, Sir Bernard Freyberg: "I send warmest St. George's Day Greetings to all your Scouts. Let us take new courage to fight against the evil things that are abroad in the world today." (Signed) Rowallan, Empire Chief Scout.
