CANTERBURY WOOLGROWERS’ CHEQUE (P.A.) Christchurch, March 17. The proceeds of the second Christchurch wool sale on February *6 netted growers nearly £1,500,000. The average price per bale was £4B 13s 8d and the average price per lb 37.4945 d. In all 30,097 bales were sold, the net weight being 9,378,9111 b The total proceeds were about £1,464,720.
