Plunket Society Appeal The sum of £llO 3s 2d was collected on Friday in the annual street appeal of the Tauranga Branch of the Plunket Society, compared with a total of £llO JBs Id last year.
Gate Pa Fatality After hearing evidence of identification from Constable F. C. Lockie, the inquest which opened yesterday into the death of Sydney Rupert H. Sworder, a citrus grower of Pye’s Pa, who was killed in a collision on his bicycle at Gate Pa on Saturday evening, was adjourned sine die by the Coroner, Mr E. S. Hylton.
