SPECIAL POLICE FORCE
GERMAN CONTROL OF BORDER BRITISH AND RUSSIAN ZONES London, March 1. It was announced in Berlin today that the British authorities in Germany are making a special police force of 5000 Germans available to control the border between the British and Russian zones. The announcement said that the German police forces were insufficient to keep the close watch on the boundary necessary after the Western economic measures which followed the Soviet blockade of Berlin.
