FORMING MALAYAN NAVY
BRITISH AID IN SHIPS AND TRAINING London, Dec. 21 The Singapore Legislative Council has passed a Bill to establish a Malayan Navy, based on and financed by Singapore. Its first recruiting aim will be 750 men by the end of 1951. A training base shins have been provided by the Royal Navy.
