CARD PARTY AT TAURIKO
There was a good attendance at the weekly progressive 500 tournament held in the Tauriko Settlers’ Hall recently, when Mr R. Hoyle was the host. Prizes were won as follows: Mrs H. Mills and Mrs Carter, equal 1; Messrs C. Geraghty and R. Rasmussen, equal 1; consolations, Mr Skilton and Mrs Scales; travelling prizes, Mrs H. Mills and V. E. Johns. A competition was won by Mr C. Geraghty with M.'ss Carter and Mrs Sumner runners-up.
