SECURITY COUNCIL ON HYDERABAD
CONFLICTING VIEWS EXPRESSED
"Independence Suppressed By Force"
Position Of Nizam In Doubt
London, Sept. 28. The Security Council today discussed the situation in Hyderabad. The Argentine delegate urged that India be ordered to withdraw her troops and restore the independence of the State. He said it was known that Hyderabad's independence had been suppressed by force but in this case,
he added, all communications from the "lamb" had been received through the hands of the "wolf." The head of the Hyderabad mission to the council still wondered whether the Nizam had been a free agent when he asked for the case against India to be dropped. The Indian delegate replied that the Nizam was really a free agent now. but when he sent the mission to- the Security Council he had been the victim of a set of gangsters. The council adjourned without taking any action.
