SURVEY OF FARM MACHINERY
ASCERTAINING REQUIREMENTS OF DOMINION
The national survey of farm machinery requirements is still being conducted by the Dominion Action Committee of Federated Farmers of New Zealand. Replies to questionnaires have been received from 10,000 farmers, many being accompanied by detailed letters.
In • a statement this week, however, Mr R. G. Buckleton, Chairman of the Committee deplores the slowness of farmers to reply. Approximately 60,000 cards had been issued and the return of only 10,000 was not* satisfactory. He urged others to reply immediately as the Federation could complete its case for further imports only when full information was available.
