“GIFT” PARCELS RACKET
FOOD MINISTRY TAKES ACTION
Another food racket, buying “gift” parcels from abroad has been stopped by the Food Minister. Under a new order no one in Britain can order food parcels from abroad, either direct from the shippers or from their agents.
Previously the order prevented people living in Britain from buying or soliciting on their own behalf rationed food from overseas.
But it did not stop them paying for parcels to be sent to different addresses in Britain whei’e they could be picked up.
“The new order ends the commercialisation of food narcels.”
