SWIMMING BATH FOR HIGH SCHOOL
FUND TO BE RAISED IN WHANGAREI
Whangarei, June 30
(P.A.) Whangarei, June 30. A fund of £I,OOO to build a swimming hath is to he raised by a committee to be set up by the headmaster of tho Whangarei Boys’ High School. Mr H. A. Henderson. This sum will be subsidised £ for £ by the Education Department. Addressing the' school board, which gave him power to act, Mr Henerson nuoted a report, prepared in 1909, which stated that a swimming bath was badly needed and could be built for £IOO, £SO being supplied by the Government.
