ACCUSATIONS AGAINST GOVERNMENT
(P.A.) Wellington. June 30. that there was more behind the Mountpark dispute than the' mere lifting of hatch covers were made on both sides of the House of Representatives tonight when the trouble on the Auckland waterfront was ventilated in the debate on the Imprest Supply Bill. No new developments in the settling of tho dispute were revealed during the discussion.
Members of the Opposition accused the Government of procrastination and appeasement. The Minister of Labour, Mr McLagan, in reviewing the dispute, said some of the official representatives of the Waterside Workers’ Union were the bitterest enemies of the Government and desired its destruction. -
