EXPORTS OF BRITISH CARS
NEW ZEALAND A GOOD CUSTOMER During the first 11 months of 1947, New Zealand was the second highest purchaser of British cars, according to figures recently released by the British Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, New Zealand in that period imported 12,654 cars from the United Kingdom, 4671 from Canada, and 728 ffom the United States. Australia was the biggest purchaser of English cars, with imports of 16,317. She also purchased 12,666 from Canada and 4327 from the United States.
