JUNIOR NATIONAL PARTY
ACTIVITIES OF TE PUKE BRANCH
Members of the Te Puke Junior National Party held a very successful meeting in the Parish Hall, when' twenty-five members were present and four new members were enrolled. The- chairman, Mr Keith Conway, Paengaroa, welcomed Mr Colin Spratt who gave a talk outlining the evolution of the Junior National Party and its possibilities. Mr Spratt later gave an account of the National Party Conference held in Hamilton. . . , Three members were elected to act as delegates to the Senior National branch of the movement. These members were Messrs Conway (chairman), Max Wickham, Pongakawa (vice-chairman), and F. Allen, Te Puke (secretary). . It was decided to arrange a fortnightly Social and dance to be held ip. the Parish Hall.
