COMBINED AIR EXERCISES
PLANES OF ROYAL NAVY AND R.A.F. London, April 7. Large-scale combined air exercises by planes of the Royal Navy and the Royal Air Force will start in Britain on Monday. Dummy strikes will be made on the Home Fleet at Portland, and on Royal Navy and R.A.F. stations. The exercises will be the largest combined operations of their kind since the end of the war, and will include fighter sweeps by aircraft of the Royal Navy.
