SCHOOL TO REOPEN
IMPROVEMENT TO SANITARY ARRANGEMENTS
(P.A.) Russell, April 6. The Russell School will reopen tomorrow. It was closed on March 2, when the ' parents refused to • send their children to school until the sanitary arrangements were improved. This improvement has now been promised by the Auckland Education Board, which has also agreed to the provision of a new classroom. In view’ of this assurance, the parents at a meeting last night decided to send their children to school and to give the bpard until after the holidays in May cl 3 the time in which the improvements should be made.
