c ir _We the undersigned as mover and seconder of the motion £ regard to the proposed check on petrol consumption, an dpamtingo the name “Tauranga County Council” on either door oi all county trucks, wish to make the follo^ n e g re e w P S M an° n amend m ent, pronosed by Cr Spratt and seconded by Cr McClinchie, that the refercnee to all “Trucks” be amended to read all trucks except the light trucks, used by the Overseer and Surveyors. The amendment tang put, was carried. The unauman voted for the amendment. It is the definite opinion of the councillors who voted against the amendment that all trucks, should for identification purposes have either T.C.C. or Tauranga County Council in full painted on both doors and trucks should only be used for county work. —We are, etc., CR W I RUSHTON, mover.
