DANCE HELD AT PAENGAROA

The Te Puke Junior National Party held a very successful dance in the Paengaroa Hall last week. Mr R. Griffin, chairman of the club, expressed his pleasure at the good attendance and the consequent benefit to the club funds. The “HiLites” Band of Tauranga provided the music. Miss Hunt, of Pukehina, and her partner won the novelty dance. It was announced that the ciub had arranged to hold a picnic at Lake Rotoiti later in the month, and that three launches had been engaged for the transport. Points of interest at the lake will be visited, including one to the natural hot baths.
