Further Admissions Of Suspects
Diagnosis of two suspected cases Of infantile paralysis in the Auckland Hospital as positive was made yesterday. This brought the Dominion total since November up to 151. A further suspected case was admitted to the hospital yesterday afternoon. The patient was a woman, aged 26, from Papatoetoc. There were 53 positive cases and three suspects in the hospital last night. Two further suspected cases, both children, were notified in the South Auckland health district yesterday. One was a boy, aged six, from Taupiri, and the other was a girl, also aged six, from Karapiro. Their admissions made the Waikato Hospital totals yesterday 11 positive and three suspected cases.
