Mr T. Mackay is the Tauranga Yacht and Power Boat Club's delegate at the 1948 Corn well Cup contest being held at Paremata.
Mr E. A. Craig, of Tauranga, was successful in the Chartered Institute of Secretaries, New Zealand branch, examinations held in September, 1947. He completed his final section tests.
On a two months' holiday visit to New Zealand, the general secretary of the New South Wales Auxiliary of the British and Foreign Bible Society (the Rev. A. W. Stuart, 8.A.), has arrived in Wellington. He is accompanied by his wife.
Mr Redmond Phillips, New Zea-land-born actor and script writer and producer, and until recently script writer for the Australian comedian Jack Davies, has arrived in New Zealand.
Miss M. Kerr, of Dunedin, and Mr J. Robson, of Otago, are visiting Mount Maunganui before they compete in the Auckland tennis championships. Miss Kerr was runnerup in the. New Zealand women's singles championships held at Auckland recently, and winner of the
doubles championships with Miss Attwood. of Auckland. Mr Rob-on w the North Island champion and was runner-up in the-New Zealand singles championship, and is a Now Zealand Davis Cup representative
