MORE FOOD FROM DENMARK

COAL AND TEXTILES IN RETURN

GOOD PROGRESS IN TRADE

TALKS

London, Jan. 13

A Parliamentary correspondent says that it is expected that the trade talks between Britain and Denmark will end within a week or so.

Two lots of talks have been going on. The Ministry of Food is negotiating with Danish representatives about prices, while Board of Trade officials have been compiling a list of British exports to Denmark and delivery dates. The main goods offered by Britain are coal and textiles.

The correspondent adds that if an agreement can be reached over a wide field the results will go far to re-establish Anglo-Danish trade on a more normal basis.' The Danes will get much-needed fuel and manufactured goods while Britain would get more supplies of essential food.
