IN FINAL
Subscription fours’ events were staged by the Tauranga Rowing Club on Saturday, E. Beston’s crew beating G. Washer’s crew in the final.
The crews were: L. Silvester, Paul O’Brien, R. Brown, M. Palmer; Bestcn, K. Park, R. Gamble, Peter O’Brien; Washer, R. Stevens, J. Dockray and E. Kirk; B. Herbert, N. lies, H. lies and C. Saxton.
In the racing Beston accounted for Silvester, and Washer beat Herbert.
