DEATH OF TE PUNA FARMER
MR ISAAC S. YOUNGMAN
LIVED IN DISTRICT SINCE
The death has occurred of Mr Isaac Saward Youngman, aged 54 years, son of Mr and Mrs J. R. Youngman, of Cameron Road, Tauranga, who has lived in the district since 1919, and who has been a dairy farmer at Te Puna since 1935. Formerly oi Midhirst, Taranaki, he served with the New Zealand Forces during the first World War, at the conclusion of which he settled in Tauranga as a blacksmith to the Public Works Department. He remained in this occupation until he began farming. He had two daughters and a son, four sisters and two brothers. His wife died three years ago. His father, who still lives in Tauranga is now 91 years of age. The late Mr x oungman, who was a prominent member of the community, was associated with the Federated Farmers (Auckland Province).
