Invercargill, Dec. 6. “The trip W3S entirely successful for everyone and our main object, the collection of material for exhibition at the American Museum of Natural History m New York, was carried out in full, said Dr. . A Falla, director of the Dominion Museum. The scientific expedition which has spent the last fortnight at the Snares, 56 miles s ° ut £ °* Stewart Island, returned to Blutt in the vessel Alert today. Dr Falla was accompanied by Dr R C Murphy, chairman of the Department of Birds at the American Museum of Natural History New York.
