Inter-Club Tennis An inter-club tennis match played at Te Puna recently resulted in the Railway Tennis Club's team defeating the Tc Puna club by 18 sets to 14. Control And Production Concern was voiced at a recent meeting of the executive of the Hutt Valley Chamber of Commerce at what appeared to be a measure of credit control exercised by the Reserve Bank over trading banks, and the opinion was expressed that such control might adversely affect production in the Dominion. It was decided to request the Associated Chambers of Commerce to investigate the position. Reduced Petrol Quotas "Advice of their quotas of petrol for each month from now until April has reached resellers, and on the face of it the cuts seem to be very heavy in March and April," said Mr V. D. Edwards, secretary of the Retail Motor Trade Association in Auckland, when asked yesterday to define the extent of petrol rationing. He added that quotas for November and December were almost the same as for last year, but from January onward they declined progressively.
